Athletic Trainers are the front-line professionals dealing specifically with the active patient population as well as patients within other areas as needed. The program consists of various academic and clinical education experiences. Not only will athletic training students be exposed to numerous academic challenges, but as a part of the clinical experiences, will also receive professional hands-on experience with Cumberland University Athletics, area physical therapy clinics, area high schools, and other clinical sites affiliated with the MSAT program.
All Graduate Track students will need to complete their application via ATCAS.
The mission of Cumberland University Athletic Training (AT) Program is to prepare students for the profession of athletic training by providing knowledge and clinical experience necessary for continued growth within their desired career path.
To provide a quality education to all athletic training students within the MSAT Program and promote lifelong learning.
The Athletic Training (AT) program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE-2001 K Street NW, Third Floor North – Washington, DC 20006; 512-733-9700).
