Submitting a request
You can visit our HelpCenter at https://cumberlanduniversity.zohodesk.com/portal/en/home. Here you will find a variety of common issues and their resolutions. If you do not see a solution to the issue you’re experiencing, you can submit a ticket in the Help Center, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Activate your Cumberland Portal/Reset Password
Every student is given an account with access to various software platforms to use during their time at Cumberland. To activate your Cumberland portal please complete the following steps:
Open your preferred web browser and visit
Provide the requested personal information
After you click submit, your username, student email address, and a copy code will be given. Print this page or write down the information.
Please note: if your social security number is not on file correctly with the Office of Admissions, your portal will not activate.
If you receive the error message ‘Student Not found in CAMS’ please contact the Admissions Office at 615-547-1246 to verify the university has your social security number correct in the system.
When troubleshooting, it is best to access your university accounts (CAMS, CANVAS, GMAIL) via a computer. Avoid using your cell phone and/or tablet when possible.
