Our application opens August 1. We send decisions out four times a year after your application is complete.
Our recommended deadline is January 1. Applying by this date will guarantee you receive a decision before spring which gives you a chance to be fully informed about scholarships and other financial aid options available to you.

FAFSA ApplicationSeniors who are Tennessee residents may apply for the Tennessee Promise scholarship, which will provide two years of tuition-free attendance at CU.
TN PromiseApply between October 15 and December 31 and receive a decision by January 15. This admissions decision date offers you the chance to be fully informed about scholarships and other financial aid options available to you.
Start My ApplicationApply between January 1 and March 15 and receive an admission decision by April 1. Receiving your admission decision before you graduate high school will help you use your summer preparing for your first day at CU.

Scholarship ApplicationApply between March 15 and May 31 and receive a decision by June 15. This is our last official admission decision day for the upcoming fall semester. By applying in the spring you can still receive a decision in time to prepare for your first day at CU.
