About Us
The Alumni Association Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the Cumberland University Alumni Association and has oversight of the executive, financial, and administrative affairs of the Association. The Board is committed to achieving the goals and objectives as defined in our Strategic Plan, as well as creating a leadership team which is representative of the demographics of our alumni constituency base. The CUAA BOD oversees the ‘Pay It Forward’ Scholarship and encourages all alumni to give to this fund in order to help current and future students with financial need cover the cost of books and fees.

Love to lead? The Cumberland University Alumni Association Board of Directors is accepting applications and nominations for individuals who are willing and able to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Directors as a Director-at-Large for a two-year term.

Pay It Forward
The ‘Pay It Forward’ Scholarship is overseen by the Cumberland University Alumni Association Board of Directors. The scholarship goes towards covering books and fees for students based on financial assistance. Students may apply by completing a current issues assignment and becoming a student ambassador for the CU Alumni Association. We encourage our Alumni to support this scholarship and ‘Pay It Forward’ for current and future CU students.
Phoenix Rising
The Phoenix Rising is a biannual magazine for alumni and friends of the university to keep you in the know about what is going on at CU.
