Hannah is from Kingsport, Tennessee and graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 2015. She attended Northeast State Community College where she earned an Associate of Science in General Studies- University Parallel in 2017. Hannah transferred to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she then earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Programs with a Concentration in Neuroscience in 2020. In her free time, Hannah enjoys exploring new brunch spots, sporting events, and exercise classes. Hannah will be serving as the enrollment specialist for non-nursing community college and transfer students.

Former Mid-South Academic All-Conference, Second Team All-Conference, and 2x Golden Glove outfielder Taylor Woodring joined Cumberland University staff as the Assistant Softball Coach in June of 2021.  Woodring earned her Bachelors of Arts in General Studies from Cumberland University in 2020 and received her Masters in Business Administration from CU in 2021.

Amber Wilson grew up in East Tennessee and attended Maryville College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and completed her thesis on The Perceived Influence of Canine Companion Animal Ownership on Adolescent Sense of Coherence. She received her Masters of Business Administration at Cumberland University in 2012, earning the MBA Student of the Year award.  Before returning to Cumberland in 2016, Amber worked as an Area Coordinator in the Office of Housing & Residential Life at Middle Tennessee State University.

Head Men and Womens Golf Coach and Game Day Supervisor

Rich Williams begins his seventh season as head golf coach and eighth with the Phoenix golf program in 2019-20. He also serves as the department's Game Operations Director, a title added during the summer of 2016. During his tenure, Williams has coached four NAIA All-Americans--Austin Garrett in 2013-14, Ryan Botts in 2015-16, and Ana Laura Pages Preuss and Raquel Romero Valverde in 2018-19--alongside 38 All-Mid-South Conference players. In the 2018-19 season, Cumberland captured both MSC Freshman of the Year awards with Maria Pilar Scenna for the women and Adrian Steeger on the men's side. His men's teams have won the last three MSC Tournament Championships, earning an an automatic bid to the last three NAIA Championships. The women have recieved at-large bids to the NAIA Championships the last three years. In 2019 he led them to a MSC regular season title before finishing a program record seventh in the NAIA Championships. In his first season as head coach, he led the Cumberland men to its first regular season championship. CU won three times during 2013 and placed second in four other tournaments, earning Williams Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year honors.  Cumberland enjoyed a successful 2016-17 season, winning three tournaments including the MSC Championships and placing second in two others to earn a spot in the NAIA Championships for the men. The women won a single tournament and took second in four others, securing the program's first ever trip to the national tournament. Williams was honored with a Co-MSC Coach of the Year honor for his efforts. The Franklin, Tenn., native has worked in a variety of roles within the golf industry, including as an assistant and head professional at Indian Hills Golf Club in Murfreesboro, The Little Course as Aspen Grove, The Polo Club in Boca Raton, Fla., and Gaylord Springs Golf Club in Nashville. He was an independent sales representative in the golf industry from 1998-2007. In his Game Operations role, Williams oversees all aspects of set-up and breakdown for home athletic events at football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, baseball and softball, including staffing for ticketing and marketing, security for officials, locker rooms for visiting teams and scheduling for the Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena. Williams received his bachelor's in Psychology from Middle Tennessee in 1992 and is currently working on his master's in Public Service Management at Cumberland.

Ms. Courtney Lauren Vick graduated from Harpeth Hall School in Nashville in 2008 where she was Student Body President and a three-sport athlete. She went on to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she graduated magna cum laude and received her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Electronic Media in 2012. While at UT, she was an active volunteer and student leader (30+ organizations) who interned with Jewelry Television and worked for Aramark.  Upon graduation, the University of Tennessee System President Dr. Joe DiPietro recognized her as a Torchbearer, the highest honor bestowed upon a student.  She graduated from Cumberland with her MBA (4.0 GPA) in summer 2015.  Prior to obtaining her MBA, she entered the workforce as an intern/sales assistant for Custom Packaging. Ms. Vick now serves as the Senior Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations.  She previously served as CU's Director of Career Services and Internships, the Director of Residence Life & Greek Affairs, the Director of the Academic Enrichment Center, and a Graduate Assistant for First Year Studies & General Education.  She was the Board President for the Nashville Area Career Fair Consortium.  Courtney was President of her Mortar Board Chapter at the University of Tennessee and became a Section Coordinator for the Tennessee Valley region of Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society after graduation.  She is a Board Member, current chair of the sports & events committee, social media chair, and former Secretary for the University of Tennessee’s Nashville Area Board and Young Alumni Council.  She is a member and Secretary of Cumberland University’s Alumni Board of Directors.  She serves as her high school class’ reunion chair. She has been awarded the inaugural Faculty/Staff Homecoming Representative Award, the Favorite Staff Member Award, and the Faculty/Staff Member of the Year Award for Greek Life.  She enjoys working with Cumberland’s Notes for Nurses committee, Working Wonders students, Best Buddies Program, and Pride Alliance. She is a 2018 Leadership Wilson graduate and was named and honored as a “Woman of Wilson”.  She is a board member for Leadership Wilson and is now part of Leadership Middle Tennessee. She resides in Lebanon, where she has lived since August 1996.

Jodi earned her Associate of Arts degree in 2019 from Cumberland University. She graduated from Cumberland in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science. In May 2021 Jodi joined Cumberland University as the University Concierge. She currently plans to pursue her master’s degree at Cumberland. When not working, Jodi enjoys being with family, working out, going to concerts, reading, and spending time outdoors.

Mr. James Dennis Vick graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, in 2007, where he was a three-sport athlete and student leader. He went on to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Hospitality Management in 2012.  While a student, he helped organize, manage, and oversee a major dinner, auction, and fundraiser for the University and assisted with the Tennessee Food and Wine Festival.  While in school, he worked in the hospitality and restaurant industries.    He graduated from Cumberland University with his MBA in the spring of 2018.  Prior to obtaining his MBA, he was an Operations Manager for Peter Nappi, a luxury and fine Italian leather goods maker specializing in handbags and footwear in Nashville, where he also interned during his senior year of college. Mr. Vick currently serves as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Cumberland. Prior to this role, he worked as a Graduate Assistant and Financial Aid Advisor.  He also is the Work Study Program Supervisor, a member of the Admissions Committee, a FAFSA Nights Member Partner, and a Tennessee Promise mentor.  In his spare time, James enjoys playing golf, checking out the evolving restaurant and craft-brewery scene in Middle Tennessee, volunteering and helping others, and hanging out with his dogs.  He currently resides in Lebanon, where his family has lived since August 1996.
