It is with great sadness that I share with you that Dr. Harvill C. Eaton, 25th President of Cumberland University, passed away on March 2, 2020 after a brief illness. Arrangements are being coordinated bu the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home in Donelson, TN.

I know you all will join me in sending our prayers and deepest sympathy to Lois Eaton, her children and grandchildren. Dr. Eaton spent many years of his distinguished academic career leading Cumberland University, and for that, we will forever be grateful.
