Cumberland University announced that tickets are now on sale for the Phoenix Ball to be held on June 4, 2022.
Shawn and Lindsay Smith, the chairs for this year’s event, have already been working for months with members of the Phoenix Ball committee to plan a memorable evening. The theme they have chosen is “Cirque Du Phoenix”.
“As owners of The Jewelers and Lindsay B. Smith Properties, Shawn and Lindsay have both been involved with the Phoenix Ball for many years and Cumberland is delighted to have them chair the event this year,” said University President Paul Stumb.
Now in its 38th year, the Phoenix Ball has become the premier event on Wilson County’s social calendar.
“Like last year, we expect that tickets to the Ball will sell out quickly, so we encourage everyone to get their tickets early,” said Lindsay Smith.
The Smiths are also pleased to announce that Lynotte and Denise Moore will again host the Patrons’ Party on July 16, 2022. The Patrons’ Party is closely linked to the Phoenix Ball and both events raise funds for student scholarships.
