The Pay It Forward Scholarship

Presented by the Cumberland University Alumni Association Board of Directors established by the Cumberland University Alumni Association Board of Directors. The Pay It Forward scholarship will be awarded based on need and will go towards covering books and fees. Students applying must complete a current issues assignment in order to be eligible. Recipients must attend one alumni board meeting and are highly encouraged to attend alumni sponsored events.
Criteria: A recipient must have financial need and is expected to attend one alumni board meeting during the calendar year. The recipient will also be encouraged to attend alumni sponsored events. The student may be asked to speak at alumni events and appear in Cumberland University media as a representative of the scholarship. First-time recipients must have either an ACT score of 20 or a GPA of 2.75.
