This scholarship is awarded to a Cumberland junior or senior majoring in the liberal arts with an academic area of focus in pre-law or pre-medicine and is a resident of the State of Tennessee. Established in 1988 by Virginia Woodfin, widow of John T. Woodfin, this scholarship honors Mr. Woodfin, who was a civic leader and businessman from Rutherford County, Tennessee.
