H.D. (Boone) and Sue Swain Scholarship

Description:

The Scholarship is awarded to a full-time undergraduate student attending Cumberland University who is majoring in Biology or Nursing. Priority consideration for this scholarship will be given to a student with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Financial need will be the determining factor in selecting the scholarship recipient and will be determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid. Once a student is selected as a recipient of The H. D. “Boone” and Sarah Swain Scholarship, the scholarship will be available to renew each year provided the student remains in good standing with the University according to the Student

Handbook and maintains a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. The award is made for no more than eight (8) semesters to any one student. Awarded funds may be used for tuition, room and board, fees and books.
