This scholarship was established to support full-time students whose lives have been financially impacted by cancer either personally or through an immediate family member. A recipient or his/immediate family member (parent, legal guardian, or sibling) must have experienced cancer within 4 years of the recipient entering Cumberland University. Grandparents, aunts, and uncles are excluded unless they are legal guardians. Skin cancers, other than Stage III melanoma, are excluded. First-time recipients must have either an ACT score of 20 or a GPA of 2.75. Recipients from Wilson County will be given priority, with students from other Middle Tennessee counties as a second preference.
