Jeannie Thomas worked for 25 years in the real estate industry while pursuing her college degrees. She earned a Bachelor of Business degree from Cumberland University in 2001 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Tennessee State University in 2013. Before returning to Cumberland University as a Business Adjunct Instructor, she served in administration and teaching at Daymar College and National College of Business and Technology.

With over 500 hours of coursework in real estate, finance, legalities and other topics, she has also taught real estate classes for the State of Tennessee. Also, with an additional business background in healthcare, non-profit organizations, and outreach ministries, she brings a wide array of knowledge to the business courses and programs at Cumberland University. Other experience includes business studies and missions work in various countries giving expansive knowledge of cultural differences and business customs in other parts of the world.

She thoroughly enjoys teaching at Cumberland University to share her background and education with those that want to learn.
