Angela Owen started her nursing career at Barstow Community Hospital in the intensive care unit and cross-trained in several hospital areas such as the emergency room, telemetry department, special procedures, and nursing supervision. She transferred to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, California, where she trained and became a charge nurse in a cardiac open-heart unit that specialized in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts and Valve Replacements.

Mrs. Owen continued to grow in her profession, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at California State University Dominguez Hills as well as her Public Health license. In addition, continuing on to become CCRN c. In 2023, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing Education degree from Grand Canyon University.

During Mrs. Owen’s practice as a board-certified registered nurse, she accepted an adjunct faculty position at Victor Valley College.

In late 2022, Mrs. Owen and her family relocated to Tennessee. Currently, she is a Nursing Supervisor at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, a Clinical Instructor for Advanced Topics in the nursing program at Cumberland University, and an adjunct faculty substitute in the nursing program at Volunteer State Community College.

Mrs. Owen is married and has three boys. The eldest son is a college student, and their two younger sons enjoy playing baseball and football. Mrs. Owen enjoys boating with the family, traveling in their RV, movies, and baseball!
