Holland Mooney began her career with Cumberland as a Human Resource Generalist in the Summer of 2024. She is from Franklin, TN where she graduated from Battle Ground Academy in 2018. She graduated from Cumberland University in 2023 Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration with a minor in marketing. While at Cumberland, Holland was a member of the volleyball team for two years and was a Presidential Ambassador, Resident Assistant, and Residence Life Coordinator. She was also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Mu Alpha Theta, and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies. In her time at Cumberland she received the William McShain Memorial Award, Residence Life Coordinator of the Year Award, Distinguished Service Award, and was a part of the Academic All Mid-South Conference team. In 2024, Holland received her Master of Business Administration degree from Cumberland, while working as a graduate assistant for the Residence Life office. In her free time, Holland enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and playing with her dog.

Ryan Stanley began coaching with a college teammate, running their own AAU program. Shortly after, in August of 2021, he joined the coaching staff at Christian Community Schools, a private K-12 school in White House, TN as an Assistant Coach on the Middle School Boys Basketball Team. He was promoted to Head Coach after two years as assistant, improving the team’s record each season. Ryan is the Head Coach of two high school boys’ teams for STARS Basketball Club, a travel organization in Nashville. He has organized and run many skills camps, clinics, open gyms, tryouts, play dates, tournaments, etc. for both programs.

Ryan has also coached both young men and women at National Camps like: Snow Valley Basketball
Camps, Chris Paul’s CP3 National Middle School Combine, and Chris Paul’s CP3 Rising Stars
Camp. These camps feature some of the best coaches and young talent from across the world. Ryan has been a station leader and court evaluator for the CP3NMSC. He is a Native of Nashville, TN and graduated from Hendersonville High School. He played Basketball and Studied Marketing at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Kentucky. He also attended Volunteer State Community College.

Dr. Kip Crowder has recently retired from the Barren County School system where he began work in 1999.  Prior to his high school appointment, Kip was the general music teacher and assistant band director at Barren County Middle School.  In addition to his classroom duties, Dr. Crowder conducts the BCHS Marching Band, Pep Band as well as the High School and Middle School Percussion Ensembles.  Under his direction, the Barren County Ensembles have received consistent distinguished ratings at both the State and District level concert band and solo and ensemble festivals.  The BCHS Percussion Ensemble performed at the KMEA Conference in February of 2014.  The competitive marching band placed in finals at the Contest of Champions 10 times and has won the Kentucky Governor’s Cup 8 times. The BCHS Concert Band has placed first at 5 Music in the Parks Festivals and was named the 2010 Grand National Champion of the All-Star Music Festival in Florida for posting the highest score in 12 consecutive weekends of competition.  In 2016, the BCHS Concert Band won the prestigious Revelli Award at the Festivals of Music held in Washington, D.C. as well as placed 3rd overall in the Kentucky State 4A Marching Band Championships.

Brooke Burns is joining us from the Trevecca Nazarene University Admissions team where she worked as the Communications Coordinator for 2 and a half years. She is from Mount Juliet, TN and graduated from Wilson Central High School in 2016. From there Brooke attended TNU where she graduated in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a double minor in Dramatic Arts and Youth Ministry. She is also obtaining her Master of Business Administration in project management from Trevecca and graduates in May of 2024.

Throughout high school and college, Brooke was involved in different facets of theatre and music. She played flute in the wind ensemble and jazz band at TNU as well as the marching and symphonic band at Wilson Central. She was also involved in multiple theatre productions, including the Little Mermaid and Seussical at Trevecca and Into the Woods at Wilson Central. Since graduating she has also had the opportunity to set design for Trevecca’s production of Sarah Plain and Tall.

Outside of work and school, Brooke also enjoys singing and leading worship at her church. She loves to spend time climbing with her friends at Climb Nashville, and she is also a season ticket holder and avid fan of the Nashville Soccer Club.

Haley Lowery began with Cumberland as the Director of Human Resources in the Spring of 2024. She is a native of middle Tennessee and currently resides in Lebanon with her husband, Logan, and their dog, Cassie.

Haley received her B.A. in Criminal Justice/Public Administration with a minor in Accounting from Cumberland in 2017. She then continued her education to receive a Master of Business Administration from Cumberland in 2019, working as a graduate assistant in the Academic Success Center during her studies.

After graduation, she worked for Dollar General Corporate for 5 years, serving in various capacities within Human Resources. She specializes in regulatory compliance, benefits administration, and background checks. She has a passion for people and champions positive work environments.

In her spare time, Haley enjoys participating in new experiences by traveling with her husband, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.

Loyce Chinyanga graduated from Cumberland as an International student from Malawi. She came to Lebanon in 2009, following my husband and joined Cumberland in 2018 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration in 2022.

During college, Loyce did her work-study with the Office of Advancements and CU Library. In addition, Loyce served as CU President Ambassador.

Loyce did internships with Charis Healthcare in Mt Juliet, Tennessee for 4 months and Tennessee Oncology in Nashville, Tennessee for 4 months.

She is so excited to join Cumberland University as a staff member.

 

NOAH HUSEMAN

A recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Noah Huseman received his Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Jazz Piano and a minor in Recording Industry. He now works as a full-time musician, with work ranging from choral and instrumental music direction to writing original music and arrangements.

Studying under Pat Coil, Dr. Arunesh Nadgir, and Angela Tipps, Mr. Huseman strives to maintain a high level of well-rounded musicianship. Since he graduated college, Mr. Huseman has been a sought-after pianist in many genres; specializing in jazz, musical theater, and choral music.

With collaborative projects at the forefront of his creative work, he enjoys accompanying vocalists and instrumentalists alike.

CAMILLE GRIMALDI

Camille most recently started working as an Associate Registrar in October 2023. Camille is originally from Huntingdon, Pennsylvania but recently moved to Mt. Juliet in May 2022 after living in St. Louis, Missouri for one year.

She started her college career at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and later transferred to Juniata College where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Communications with a minor in Psychology upon graduating in 2021. She is also a member of the Lamda Pi Eta National Communication Association Honor Society.

After having a few years of experience in the medical field where she holds a license in chiropractic therapy, Camille decided to change careers and began working here at Cumberland University. She is also working towards her Master’s degree through LSU.

GUNNAR HELLAND

Entering his first year with the program, Helland was most recently Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Oconomowoc High School in Wisconsin but brings with him a wealth of experience at a young age. Helland graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Teaching from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2020.

The Wisconsin native worked as both an intern and volunteer over his four years in college. He spent two years volunteering at his alma mater and impressed at University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he interned for three years.

Soon after receiving his degree, he served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach Intern at the University of South Dakota. It was there that he took on his largest role to date, assisting with workouts for football, men’s basketball, women’s soccer, and track and field.

Since graduating in 2020, Helland has continued to work at his craft as well. In 2021 he received his certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist, adding onto his USA Weightlifting Level One Sports Performance Coach status.
