Cumberland University announced today that a total amount of $36,549 was raised during The Big Payback last week.
The Big Payback, an initiative by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, is a day of giving supporting non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee. In its seventh year, The Big Payback has now raised nearly $21 million for local non-profits. Cumberland has participated in the annual fundraising event since 2016.
During the 24-hour online event, 54 donors contributed over $36,000 to support Cumberland students.
“We are thrilled with the incredible success of this year’s event and thankful to all who contributed,” said Senior Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations Courtney Vick. “I am grateful to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee who continues to make this annual day of giving impactful for not just Cumberland, but many non-profit organizations across Middle Tennessee.”
Cumberland is thankful to each donor who participated in this exciting fundraising event.
