Cumberland Announces Upcoming Discovery Days

Dr. Valerie King

Cumberland University announced seven Discovery Days will be held during the Fall semester. The first will take place Friday, Sept. 29 and focus on the Business program.

Discovery Days are Cumberland’s day-long preview days with an intentional focus on specific academic areas of interest. Prospective students will attend Admissions and Financial Aid sessions, tour campus and residence halls, and enjoy a complimentary lunch in the dining hall before meeting faculty and taking part in immersive activities within their area of interest.

“Discovery Day is a great opportunity for prospective students to receive a ‘sneak peek’ into what the experience is for a Business student at Cumberland University,” said Dr. Valerie King, Associate Professor of Marketing. “The attendees will engage in a Business focused, hands-on exercise, meet the Business faculty, explore the many Business majors, and learn more about what career opportunities exist for Business majors.”

Cumberland’s Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business is home to seven Bachelor of Business Administration majors: accounting, business administration, management, healthcare administration, marketing, project management, and supply chain management. Students also have the opportunity to learn about the Associate of Arts in Business program, which can be earned tuition-free through the Tennessee Promise program

The following Discovery Days are open for registration.
