Bach steps down as Dean

1/17/2017

Thank you, Dr. Bach

Dr. Carole Ann Bach has resigned as the dean of the Rudy School of Nursing and Health Professions. In the past 10 years, she has lifted the School and its reputation to new heights. She has expanded the program; raised money for scholarships and equipment; and shown us all how to be a great leader. Her passion for nursing and the health professions, as well as dedication to Cumberland University, is a large part of the reason that Cumberland enjoys a great reputation for educating excellent nurses and health professionals.

Stepping in as the interim dean will be Dr. Joy Kimbrell. She has been the director of the Center for Nursing Success as well as an associate professor of nursing. While we soon will be launching a search for a new dean, Dr. Kimbrell is well-equipped to lead the Rudy School of Nursing and Health Professions during this time of transition.

From the Cumberland community, we sincerely appreciate you, Dr. Bach!
