Cumberland University is proud to have hosted Middle Tennessee’s statewide, live televised U.S. Senate general election debate between Republican nominee Marsha Blackburn and Democratic nominee Phil Bredesen on Tuesday, September 25. Partners for this debate included the USA Today Network-Tennessee, News Channel 5 Nashville, Nashville Public Television and the Tennessee League of Women Voters.
