Admission Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university
All undergraduate majors accepted, but prerequisite courses required
Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75
GRE required

3+2 Program

  • Intended for undergraduate students that have not yet obtained a bachelor’s degree (entering freshman or transfer students)
  • Students will graduate in five years with both a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science and a Masters of Science in Athletic Training
  • Students will develop a close relationship with professors and classmates and receive individualized attention and hands-on experience through each step of the process

2-Year MSAT

  • Intended for students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree (not in Athletic Training)
  • Program includes 61 total credit hours in 5 consecutive semesters, (fall, spring, summer, fall, spring)
  • Students will graduate prepared to take the BOC examination and earn credentialing as a Certified Athletic Trainer
