Peg Fredi is an international award-winning photographer and a native of Tennessee. She has illustrated more than 20 books and has been a featured illustrator at the Southern Festival of Books in Nashville, TN. Psychological issues, movement, and her natural surroundings are themes that inform her art. She has an expertise in historical alternative photographic printing. A life-long learner, she continually seeks new ways to bring unique interpretations to her images and teaching techniques for her students. Fredi holds degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, a Masters of Arts in Studio Art from Cumberland University, Lebanon, TN, and an MFA from Leslie University, Cambridge, MA.  She completed her Ph.D. in 2020. Fredi is an Assistant Professor of Art at Cumberland University and Director of the Adams Gallery.
