Mark Sandoval is a Lebanon, TN, native. He attended Centre College in Danville, KY, where he received his B.A. in anthropology/sociology with a Spanish minor. He graduated from the University of Arizona as a member of Knowledge River with his Master’s of Library and Information Science in December 2017. Mark is an Association of Research Libraries’ Diversity Scholar in the 2017-2019 cohort. He is also currently an active member of SALALM (Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials).
Mark previously worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Arizona Special Collections Library and at the Pima County Public Library in Tucson, AZ. In the summer of 2017 he interned at the Nashville Public Library. He is interested in working in reference and user services, the archives, and in outreach.
