Beth Bowman is a Major Gifts Officer who partners with individuals, families, and corporations to advance the mission of Cumberland University. Beth serves loyal CU supporters by aligning major gifts to significant opportunities that transform Cumberland University and impact generations of students. Beth spent the first 8 years of her career as an entrepreneur owning a couture bridal boutique in Franklin, TN. She received national recognition from Martha Stewart and The Knot for being in the top 10% of bridal boutiques in the country. Beth went on to serve as the Executive Director for a ministry in Lebanon, TN for 6.5 years. During her tenure, the organization saw a 400% growth increase and engaged in a 2 year $10M giving initiative. Beth holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Belmont University and a Leading Change Certification from Belmont University’s Center for Executive Education. She is a graduate of Leadership Wilson. Beth lives in Lebanon with her husband Jeff and two sons, Ty and Dylan. She’s an avid reader, particularly on the topic of leadership, and enjoys spending time on the farm with her family.
