Katie joined Cumberland University as an Adjunct Instructor of Sport Management in Fall 2016. 

She earned her Bachelors of Science in Mass Communication and Masters of Science in Health and Human Performance at Middle Tennessee State University. She is actively involved in her community and is a graduate of Leadership Wilson (2015) and also served on the Leadership Wilson Board of Directors. 

Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children Jaggar 7 and Kate 5. They love spending time at the beach, but also love doing anything outdoors including camping, fishing and attending sporting events. They also have a miniature schnauzer named, Macie.
