Jill Gilbert joined Cumberland as an adjunct instructor of Mathematics in the fall of 2019. She retired from the Wilson County School System in 2021 after 32 years where she enjoyed the roles of math teacher, math instruction coach, and assistant principal, as well as the district’s K-12 Mathematics Coordinator, and Administrator for the Virtual Learning Program.

She has a passion for teaching and learning and enjoys working with colleagues on best practices for teaching mathematics. Jill also enjoys traveling, reading, decorating, music, and spending time with family and friends. She resides in Lebanon and has one son.
