Grace Wood attended The University of Tennessee at Martin for her pre-pharmacy
studies before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Tennessee
Health Science Center in Memphis.

Dr. Wood has over twenty years of service with a national retail chain in various roles
including staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Her current role is the regional
pharmacy clinical services manager. She joined Cumberland in 2016 as an adjunct
professor teaching Pathophysiology and Pharmacology in Athletic Training.

Dr. Wood is active in her local church at Immanuel Baptist as well serving in different
capacities with several worldwide mission organizations. She frequently leads medical
teams to rural areas of Kenya with Lebanon based Church Missions Network.
She is married to E.J. Wood who teaches in Wilson County Schools and is the athletic
director at a local high school. They have two daughters.
