Diane Businda has been an adjunct nursing instructor in both pediatrics and obstetric since 2016. This August Diane will move into a full-time faculty role teaching Nursing in Women’s Health and Newborn.

Diane has a long career working in the area of obstetrics and the newborn. Her passion for working with the mother-baby dyad led to her obtaining her certifications as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant and a Certified Childbirth Educator. In addition to her clinical experience, Diane teaches Perinatal Education Classes to expectant parents.

Diane holds both an Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees. In 2016 her passion for both nursing and teaching led her to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing Education degree.
