Bettina Warkentin joined the Vise Library staff in 2015 as a reference and instruction librarian; she also serves as coordinator of the Stockton Archives.

After earning her master’s degree in Library & Information Science through UT-Knoxville in 2011, Bettina worked within the Nashville Public Library system in adult and technical services, special collections, and Metro Nashville government archives.

In 1993, Bettina received her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration through UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Public Health.  While in North Carolina, she worked with the Tri-County Community Health Center in Newton Grove, NC, primarily in its HIV/AIDS case management program, and with the CDC’s National AIDS Hotline. After completing a Master’s degree in General Psychology in 1988 through the University of Memphis, Bettina worked with adult psychiatric patients in Memphis and with Boston’s Senior Services program.  An ongoing interest in international affairs motivated Bettina’s undergraduate studies in political science.
