I graduated with my RN in 2014 with my Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Nashville State Community College. In 2017, I completed my Bachelors and Masters Degree in Nursing with Western Governors University. I am now attending Union University starting Fall 2022 for my Doctorate of Nursing Practice and will be done in 2025. I have been teaching since 2017. I started with doing clinical and lab work with Union University and Tennessee Tech’s BSN and accelerated BSN programs. I then taught full time until coming to CU at Fortis Institute ADN program for 2 years teaching didactic, simulation, labs, and clinical coordinating.
I have worked in Cardiac, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Critical Care. I still currently work PRN at a surgery center with Cookeville Regional Medical Center. I have a passion for critical care and surgery and enjoy still working bedside with those patients!
I am a member of the American Nurses Association and love to do volunteer work with Wounded Warrior Project.
