Amy Walworth has been teaching students through music for fourteen years.  Amy is originally from Corbin, Kentucky but later moved to the Middle Tennessee area for high school and college. Amy received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from Cumberland University in 2005. After getting married to husband Michael, she relocated to Kearney, Nebraska where she received her Masters in Music Education from the University of Nebraska in 2010. While teaching in Nebraska, Amy became certified in Level 1 Orff Schulwerk Pedagogy training in Music and Movement (Belmont University, Nashville)  as well as Level 2 from the International Orff Course (San Francisco, California). During her time in Nebraska, along with her mentor, Amy was honored to present a number of presentations on incorporating creative pedagogical teaching techniques in an ensemble and private lesson setting at the International Clarinet Association conference in 2010, as well as the National Conference for Kodaly Educators in 2011, and the Nebraska Educators Conference in 2012.  Amy is currently in her fourth year teaching PreK-5th grade as the Elementary Music Specialist at Macon County Public schools, in Lafayette Tennessee.
