Amber McKee began at Cumberland University’s Vise Library in fall of 2007. Prior to working at Cumberland, Amber worked at the Lebanon-Wilson County Public Library and the Mt. Juliet Public Library.

Mrs. McKee started at Cumberland University as a Library Technical Assistant. Upon completion of her Masters of Science in Information Science from University of Tennessee, Knoxville, she was promoted to Librarian. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theater and Master of Arts degree in Education, both from Cumberland University.

Mrs. McKee’s primary job responsibilities include maintaining access to the library’s electronic resources, collection development, ordering and processing library materials, managing the library’s Interlibrary Loans, providing Information Desk assistance, and acting as a liaison to the Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business.
