Forest Bathing is an evidence-based therapeutic practice and immersive experience that fosters a reconnection with nature through a guided meditation and a slow-paced sensory walk, punctuated with invitations to engage nature along the way. It’s not the same as taking the dog out or identifying species, it’s about connecting to nature and moving into feeling compassion for the natural world
Stress raises levels of the hormone cortisol. Long-term stress and chronic elevations in cortisol play a role in high blood pressure, heart disease, headaches, and many other ailments.
