“Cumberland University’s Community Arts Council (CUCAC) recognizes the fine art programs within the Wilson County education system are beneficial to not only students but the community as well,” said Erin Rheinscheld, a member of CUCAC and Executive Director for Catherine’s Orchestra for All. “Due to the pandemic, art programs have not been at their full capacity and we want to reiterate to the students that what they do and love is important.”

"The arts are such an integral part of a child's education. Children learn how to think creatively and express themselves. Moreover, the arts give students the social-emotional outlet they need, “ said Max Amoss, Camp FAME head music instructor and Assistant Band Director at Lebanon High School. “The Cumberland University Community Arts Council's work towards the FAME camp is inspiring. I am excited for this year's inaugural year for the FAME camp encompassing many disciplines in the arts. We hope to see FAME grow to help all students find their inspiration in the arts!”

Thank you for your interest in Camp FAME. The response from the Wilson County community has been remarkable. Unfortunately, the spots for campers have now been filled so we are no longer accepting applications for this summer's camp. Please rest assured that we are already looking for ways to expand the camp for next year.
