Cumberland University is proud to welcome veterans and students who are eligible to receive benefits through the military. The University is excited to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program which offers additional benefits to qualifying veterans.
Your first step in receiving educational benefits for your military service is to apply through the US Department of Veterans Affairs. The Veteran's Online Application (VONAPP) allows you to submit your request online. Student eligibility for VA education benefits is determined solely by the Department of Veterans Affairs. To inquire about eligibility for G.I. Bill education benefits as a veteran or service member, please call 888-442- 4551 or visit this website at benefits.va.gov/gibill.
Once you have received notification that you are eligible for benefits, you will need to submit your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) form to Janette Beasley, veterans benefits representative email@example.com or the University registrar, firstname.lastname@example.org.
For more information regarding using your VA benefits you may contact Janette Beasley 615-547-1237 email@example.com or the university registrar at 615-547-1342.
Cumberland is authorized by the State of Tennessee to offer training to veterans and other eligible persons under laws administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
