Adams Gallery

The Adams Gallery, located in the Heydel Fine Arts Center, presents a rotating series of exhibits by professional artists who speak about their work and careers in gallery talks. Cumberland art and design students participate in competitions held in the Adams Gallery and take part in a senior exhibit in the gallery, which showcases their creative works done at Cumberland.

Human/Nature Exhibit
Nov. 1 - Dec. 1
Gallery Talk: Mon., Nov. 1, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

The exhibit features works of artists Jennifer Leach and Vicki Terry. Through their artwork, Jennifer Leach and Vicki Terry explore their relationship with nature. Both artists use walks in their environments as inspiration for their works.  They use their expertise of many different art techniques, from printmaking to installation art, to create collages/assemblages that are all about patterns they find in nature to invoke a sense of childlike wonder. Jennifer Leach has a M.F.A. degree in printmaking from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Vicki Terry has a M.F.A. degree in painting from Ohio University in Athens, OH.
