The ideology of the United States – and its economic, political and historical roles against a global backdrop – is changing. This major is part of a unique program designed to give students a close examination of American Studies, but with the broadest possible perspective to promote complete knowledge, balance and understanding. In doing so, it combines coursework from English, history, political science and other disciplines.

- 41-42 from the General Education Core
- 24 from American Studies core courses
