Students seeking any baccalaureate degree from Cumberland University may select any of the minors listed below.

Coaching - This minor, designed for those who would like to coach, consists of fifteen (15) hours of specific coursework of a general nature and four (4) hours in an area of specialization of certain sports.

Health - The health minor consists of twenty (20) hours of specific courses as follows:

• Drugs and violence in health education
• Personal and community health
• Nutrition
• Safety and first aid
• Health issues
• Administration of health, physical education and athletic programs
• Kinesiology
  

Physical Education - It is possible to minor in physical education. This program requires twenty-one (21) hours of specific coursework.
