The BS in Computer Information Systems prepares students seeking professional careers in Information Systems to assume positions of responsibility for information systems and technology in any organization. By exposing the student to a broad range of business and industry practices for information systems, the student would be well equipped for a position as a systems analyst, computer programmer, database designer/administrator, web designer or computer marketing.

The BS in CIS requires one hundred twenty (120) minimum semester hours:

• From the GEC: 41-42 hrs
  
• Required business core: 24 hrs
  
• Required CIS courses: 30 hrs
  
• Required business electives: 18 hrs
  
• General Electives: 6 hrs
