IMPORTANT REMINDER!

It is that time of year again. All students who are planning on taking classes after July 1st, 2010 are required to fill out the 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. The FAFSA can be filled out online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The deadline for the Tennessee Student Assistance Award or state grant is February 15, 2010. We strongly recommend any student who might be eligible to apply well in advance of that deadline.

Help is Available!

The SFS office will also be sponsoring two FAFSA assistance nights for returning students and/or parents on February 4th and February 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the computer labs located in basement of Labry Hall. Students who need help completing the FAFSA online on either of those nights will need to bring 2009 income information, 2009 Federal Tax returns or estimates and the Federal PIN numbers necessary to sign the FAFSA on line.
