Officially launched in October 2007, The Cumberland Chronicle is the student newspaper at Cumberland University. Published weekly throughout the fall and spring semesters, The Cumberland Chronicle is widely read across campus and helps keep students connected to all the latest news on campus and across the greater CU community. The newspaper also serves as a forum for the discussion of national and world events, politics, sports, entertainment and college life.
Founded in 1842, Cumberland University is a small, private university in the liberal arts tradition,
located 20 miles east of Nashville. Advertise with The Cumberland Chronicle
and reach more than 1,200 students and faculty members as well as the Wilson County community -- one of the fastest growing counties in Tennessee!
The Cumberland Chronicle is published weekly on Mondays throughout the fall and spring terms.
Four-hundred copies are distributed to seven campus locations, and the previous weeks' issues are distributed to area businesses and the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber of Commerce.
