General Information
Before a student may receive academic accommodations, the student must register with the Dean of Students for special accommodations and documentation of the disability must be provided. Students who ask for information about documentation requirements should be told that specific information that the documentation must include is listed in Disability Services at Cumberland University, which is available online at www.cumberland.edu/disability_services. The documented disability must be a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities. A qualified individual with a disability must satisfy the requisite skill, experience, education, and other program-related requirements and can perform, with or without reasonable adjustments, the essential requirements of such a program.
