Important Dates for Residence Life
Priority Deadline for Residence Life is May 1, 2011.
Applications received on or before May 1 will receive priority with regards to placement and assignment in the residence halls. The Residence Life Application Processing Fee ($50 non-refundable) and Security Deposit ($200 refundable) must be paid-in-full by May 1 as well. No assignments will be made without both being paid. These fees can be made by calling the Business Office at (615) 547-1218.

You may only check-in during the time allotted for your group – please do not show up earlier than the time listed.
If you need to check-in earlier than the day listed above for your group, you must call the Office of Residence Life at (615) 547-1231 to make arrangements to check-in with another group. You will be charged $25 a day for guest fees.
Students who arrive early without approval or students who are not official with the business office will not be allowed access to their room or issued a room key.

^The halls are completely closed for the Christmas Break from Dec. 9 - Jan. 6 – alternate arrangements will need to be made. All residents must turn in their residence hall keys prior to leaving for this break. Failure to do so will result in a $25 fine.
Note: Should a student need to stay after the check-out time for any given break period due to an academic need, please contact the Office of Residence Life at least seven (7) days in advance.
Student Athletes & International Students: If you are participating in a sport or are an international student that will require remaining in the halls during break periods, Residence Life will be working with the Athletic Department and International Students to determine what days you must vacate and can return to the halls.
