Cumberland University's popular "Second Cup of Coffee" lecture series returns for the 2009-10 academic year with free, lunch-time lectures certain to offer valuable insight on a wide array of topics.

Presenters for the Spring 2010 semester include:

• Tuesday, January 12     Dr. Charles Collier, A revisit to Vietnam by a

                                                        former Vietnam War U.S.  Soldier

• Tuesday, February 9      Author John Egerton

• Tuesday, March 16        Mayor Mike Jennings, Watertown Mayor,

                                                        Changing historic Watertown

• Tuesday, April 13           Dr. Stuart Harris, A reading of a short story

The Second Cup of Coffee community lecture forums are free and open to the public. Each lecture is held at 12:30 p.m. in the K-Room of the University's Phillips Dining Hall. If they so wish, visitors may purchase lunch in the dining hall or bring their own meals to the lectures.
