Real Estate Institute: Pre-Licensure

Under the guidelines set forth by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission, anyone interested in becoming a licensed Realtor must complete a 60-hour program. The Real Estate Institute at Cumberland University is continually accepting enrollment for this pre-licensure course, also known as "Real Estate Fundamentals," with classes offered during the week and on weekends.

This fundamentals course prepares the student to pass the PSI state exam and to gain an insight into the real estate profession. It covers such topics as: Tennessee State Licensing laws, rules and regulations, agency, financing, listings, sales contracts, deeds, Fair Housing, etc.
