Summer Camps

 

 

Cumberland University is proud to offer a diverse group of organizations a place to hold their summer camps and meetings. Each summer we have conferences, athletes, artists, school bands and church groups staying with us.

The university offers a safe, comfortable environment within which to pursue the goals of your organization or group. We have a gymnasium, athletic fields, meeting rooms, access to swimming and exercise equipment and excellent food service. Overnight accommodations include either private or semi-private rooms.

We would love to host your next camp! If you are looking for a place to hold a meeting for your organization in the Middle Tennessee area consider Cumberland University. The experienced staff at Cumberland is dedicated to meeting the needs of visiting groups and will work hard to make sure your experience is satisfactory in every way.

Theatre Camp for K-5th Grade

Phoenix Playhouse Camp
July 10-14
8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Tuition: $125
Theme: Beauty & the Beast
Final Camp Performance Friday, July 14 at noon


Theatre Camp for 6th-12th Grade

Rising Phoenix Productions Camp
July 17-28
1:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.
Tuition: $250

Camp Performance Dates: July 28-29 at 7 p.m.


Suzuki Violin Camp
Ages 5 and older

July 10-14
1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuition: $300 plus $25 Registration Fee
A concentrated week of Suzuki violin instruction for Level I - IV players with Thornton Cline and other Suzuki specialist instructors. Some instruction needed before beginning camp. Techniques, music theory and different genres of music will be explored. The students will enjoy crafts and games throughout the week as well and present a concert on the last day of the camp. Snack is provided.
