Biography

Marcia Melton joined Cumberland University as an adjunct instructor for the online Master of Arts in Education in 2011. The online platform allows students to work from home while maintaining other job responsibilities.

Marcia is currently the Supervisor of Instruction for the Cannon County School System. In addition, she is the chair for the Upper Cumberland Supervisors Study Council, secretary for the state supervisors council, a Common Core Leadership Coach, and has been a finalist for Tennessee Supervisor of the Year twice.

Marcia and her husband, Gerald, enjoy traveling, performing at the Arts Center of Cannon County, and time with family.
