Robert E. “Skip” Grubb joined the faculty of Cumberland University in January of 2012.  As a member of the School of Humanities, Education and the Arts he is responsible for both the residential and online Criminal Justice programs.  Dr. Grubb currently serves as the director of the residential Criminal Justice program and the online Forensic and Criminal Justice Sciences program.

Prior to coming to Cumberland Skip was the director of the Criminal Justice program at Columbia State Community College from January 2006-January 2012.  From 1997-2006 he was a professor at Marshall University, serving as Internship Coordinator, Graduate Faculty Advisor and finally Chair until his departure.

Dr. Grubb is a Certified Online Instructor (COI) through the Learning Resources Network (LERN) and is currently preparing to take the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) exam through the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
