AT Program Clinical Experience Facilities

The Cumberland University Athletic Training (AT) Program utilizes a variety of facilities that enhance the overall clinical education experience.  In order to provide the Athletic Training Student with learning opportunities in multiple athletic training environments, Cumberland University has partnered with several healthcare providers.  These providers are Tennova Medical Center, Sumner Regional Medical Center, Sumner County Board of Education, Drayer Physical Therapy, Star Physical Therapy and Urban Physical Therapy.

In addition to the clinical rotations performed on campus with CU Athletics, the Athletic Training Program offers Athletic Training Students the opportunity for learning at Tennova affiliated sites, Sumner Regional Medical Center affiliated sites, Sumner County Board of Education affiliated sites, Drayer PT affiliated sites, Star PT affiliated sites and Urban Physical Therapy.  This allows athletic training students to be exposed to collegiate, high school, and physical therapy settings.
