CU presents comedy “Plaza Suite” Nov. 9-12

The drama department of Cumberland University’s School of Humanities, Education, and the Arts will present Neil Simon’s “Plaza Suite” Nov. 9-12 in the Heydel Fine Arts Center.

The comedy, presented through special arrangement with Samuel French Inc., is being produced by CU’s Technical Director of Theatre Chris Byrd and freshman student, Jonathan Huffman. According to Byrd, the play is a portrait of three couples successively occupying a suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York.

The times for the play on Nov. 9-11 will be 7 p.m. and Nov. 12 is a matinee at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public, however donations to the drama department will be accepted. Reservations are not required.
