Eclipse fever has covered the campus

8/21/2017

New students were treated to a once in a lifetime solar event during orientation activities on Monday.  Nearly 600 students, faculty, staff and friend of CU gather on the front lawn to experience the total solar eclipse.  The sky was perfect for viewing the once in a lifetime event for the nearly 700 students who are on campus for freshman orientation. Those experiencing the eclipse noticed a temperature drop, streetlights flickering on, and the sky turning almost dusk like.  It was an exciting experience for everyone in attendance.
