Tee It Up For Sean! Tournament date set



The 8th Annual Sean Putman Memorial Golf Tournament is slated for Monday, June 17 at Five Oaks Golf and Country Club. 

Proceeds benefit the Sean Putman Memorial Scholarship Fund at Cumberland University providing educational opportunities for Wilson County high school graduates.

Sean Westin Putman died August 20, 2005, at eight years old, having fought multiple battles with cancer.  The endowed scholarship made its first award in the fall of 2007, over the years fifteen students have received scholarships, with a total of $25,700 scholarship dollars being awarded.  

“The love and support exhibited by the entire Lebanon and Wilson County community continue to amaze Sean’s family.” Said Troy Putman, Sean’s father. “The success of The Sean Putman Memorial Scholarship Fund is a true testament to the warm hearts of this community.”

The tournament is open to the public and will begin with a lunch at 11:00 am and shotgun start at noon. The tournament has several sponsorship levels available ranging from Hole Sponsors to Title Sponsorships and includes a silent auction.
